ITA: Dopo il successo mondiale ottenuto con Forest Fires, uscita lo scorso ottobre su Visionquest ed eletta dallo stesso Troxler come "una delle tracce dell'anno", i My Favorite Robot sono pronti a tornare.
Non sazi della fama già ottenuta grazie ai loro EP usciti su Crosstown Rebels ed appunto Visionquest, questa volta sarà il turno della nostrana Life and Death capitanata da DJ Tennis (non altri che Manfredi Romano) per il trio canadese formato da Voytek Korab, James Teej e Jared Simms.
2 tracce original andranno a comporre l'EP, in cui verrano poi aggiunti 3 remix su cui sapremo sicuramente dirvi di più più avanti.
Barricade, primo snippet proposto dai Robot, è una traccia ipnotica in cui la voce di Voytek spicca nella melodia di questa traccia che farà sicuramente parlare di se. Drum semplice e concisa, che lascia tutto lo spazio che serve ai synth che entrano in causa nella traccia.
The Waiting Rain, secondo snippet propostoci, è invece una bomba per il cuore, vista la "cattiveria" con cui si presenta grazie al giro di basso e le snare dominanti all'interno del groove molto più corposo rispetto alla prima, comunque caratterizzato dai soliti synth ridondanti in testa tipici di MFR.
Non va però, vista la corposita del groove, dimenticata la voce di The Waiting Rain, che non risulta di certo di minor conto rispetto a quella di Barricade.

Simple and concise drum, that leaves all the space you need to come into question in the synth track.
The Waiting Rain, the second snippet offered us, is a bomb to the heart having regard to the "evil" with which it occurs due to the bass and snare dominant within the groove much more powerful than the first, however, characterized by the usual redundant synth typical of MFR.
It should however be, having regard to the body of the groove, forgotten the voice of The Waiting Rain, which is certainly not of minor importance compared to the Barricade.
